Technical valuation and structural reinforcement of Triana Market in Seville.
Due to the problems in the light covering of the whole market, Seville Town Hall proposed a solution of reconstruction of its cover that increased the structural load. Accordingly, it was necessary to verify that the stainless steel trusses that made up the structure were still valid. The study and calculations performed allowed us to deduce that many of these trusses did not meet the minimum safety requirements, so we proceeded to design and calculate a proposal to reinforce and adapt the existing simple trusses trying not to alter the overall image of the market as a whole.
